Lessons on the Journey to the Cross

We are about to start a period of 40 days of preparation for the events of Easter. Some Churches call this “Lent” and there are often traditions associated with it. Here in Cambodia, where Christian holidays and festivals are not widely celebrated, it is important that we take time to focus on Jesus’ Journey to the Cross.
The traditional start of Lent is on Ash Wednesday—this year 5 March. On the CFSR Attenders group there is a link to a file with suggested readings through the season of lent. These will take you through the accounts in the four gospels.
Our preaching programme will also focus on “Lessons on the Journey”. Pray that God will prepare each of our hearts as we allow the Holy Spirit to bring fresh truths to us.
