CIMB Group Holdings Bhd has obtained in-principle approval from Cambodia's central bank to offer banking services in the country. CIMB will be allowed to operate a 100 per cent-owned subsidiary in its Southeast Asian neighbour. The Malaysian lender plans to establish its headquarters in Phnom Penh and begin operations within six months, CIMB said in a statement today. - Bloomberg
